Laura Morgan is a Florida native, who graduated from Florida Gulf Coast University (FGCU) with her Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science. During Laura’s time in the Exercise Science program, she had the opportunity of interning at Total Athletic Performance (TAP) in Naples. Here, she learned not only the importance of lifting weights, but also the importance of movement. If an athlete cannot move optimally, they cannot excel in their sport at the most competitive level. Upon her internship, she began working at TAP as a Sports Performance Coach. Laura continued her education and received her Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association, and is a certified USA Track and Field- Level 1 Coach. Her experience includes working with athletes both in a team setting and private sector. Altogether, Laura has coached a diverse range of athletes at levels ranging from youth to college athletes and pro-level athletes. Laura’s personal background in sport includes being a competitive tennis player. Unfortunately, Laura experienced a series of injuries that affected her future as a tennis player. This is where her passion originates for being a Sports Performance Coach. Laura’s goal is long-term athletic development and is passionate in helping each athlete reach their athletic potential.
